Wind Through The Olive Trees

~ Gentle Christmas Orchestral ~ 2016-12-10

Traditional Christmas

Notes / Back story

I used to do this one a lot at Christmas parties, back in the day when I did that sort of thing. Now mostly what I do is produce videos of other people's concerts. I guess I recorded it at some point.

Lyrics

Wind through the olive trees
Softly did blow,
Round little Bethlehem,
Long, long ago.
Sheep on the hillside lay
Whiter than snow;
Shepherds were watching them
Long, long ago.

Then from the happy sky,
Angels bent low,
Singing their songs of joy,
Long, long ago.
For in a manger bed,
Cradled we know,
Christ came to Bethlehem
Long, long ago.

Wind through the olive trees
Softly did blow,
Long, long ago.
